Diagnosis?

Recently I have had a bunch of health problems including Pityriasis Rosea. Last month I had a patch of red bumpy skin on my butt that I assumed was pityiasis rosea that had been irritated. this month the spot is back. It is a round spot about the size of a quarter on both butt cheeks. They are red with raise bumpy skin, they don't look like they are watery or filed with puss. It started going away within about two or three days last time and it already starting to go away now. I am very stressed and have a doctors appointment tomorrow. I just want to know if this could be herpes... if maybe i picked up herpes from a toilet seat, I have been tested for all other STD's but not herpes (i don't know why I wasn't tested for this i thought I was being tested for everything) I could really use some piece of mind.

I went to see a doctor today, but by the time I got there the bumps were completely gone. He said he frowned upon getting a blood test for HSV-1 and HSV-2 because so many people are exposed to it and it might give me a positive for anti bodies even though my symptoms don't seem like it. He also told me this was a very unlikely place to get herpes and yes that getting it from a toilet seat was next to impossible. Thanks for the help.

You cannot get herpes from a toilet seat. See your doc as planned for an exam/diagnosis.
