igg test

if my igg type specific hsv-2 at ten weeks post exposure came back negative with a 0.03 value, is it safe to assume i am negative and can forgo the 3 months or 4 months test.

I also want to know that if I did contract hsv-2 ten weeks ago, the numerical value at ten weeks would never be as low as 0.03, right?

You should always wait the 12 weeks.  The values you see are what you tested at compared to a control.  The numbers don't mean anything a 0.01 and a 0.32 are just as negative.

0.03,0.07 or 0.5 even 0.8 9 do not show any thing.it can vary depending on nature and instrument used in labotary.
but having said this,if you do not have any herpes symptom and your test are negative it can be safe to say you do not have herpes.
