best thing to do is to put the lil fellow away and only look at him for aiming when using the bathroom. you are driving yourself nuts needlessly!

The rest of the story:

My HSV1 was 2.59 on that same test.  I didn't mention it before as I have always had cold sores and my partner was HSV1 neg, ( HSV2 pos) So I assumed I had HSV1 for some time. No big deal. Then, I started reading more and more about the affects of HSV1 antibody and its ability to attenuate HSV2 lesions and delay onset of antibody titres to HSV2.

In short I have begun to question my results and question every little blotch or miniscule bump that I see on myself.  Just wondering what your experience is with HSV1 postive people and their subsequent testing for  HSV2 and / or attenuated symptoms.  Is retesting indicated?

labcorp uses the captia test which is fine.

you tested negative and we discussed this previously how there's no reason for more testing.
