oral herpes and genital herpes

I was having oral herpes en January, when my girlfriend kiised me and performed oral sex on me. She was all ok and have not had oral herpes.I was also ok during these 3 months. Is there any chance that the virus on the cold cores on my mouth passed to her mouth because of the kissing and then passed to my genitals?

And is there any chance that the virus passed to my genitals via finger?

Hello Doctor.
Today I did a Herpes 1 and Herpes 2 IGG test. The Herpes 1 IGG came out positive with >54.8(positive>1), Herpes 2 IGG negative with<0.5. Does this mean that I probabaly have had HSV 1 for a long time thus I am basically inmune to it.? Or that is to say ,I could not get infected during the oral sex when I had oral herpes outbreak in January?
Thanks to your reply.

And her kissing you and then giving you oral and passing your hsv1 oral is not something that going to happen

All i can say is if you do have oral herpes, which you say you had a cold sore at the time, you are basicly immune to contracting it in the genital area. Did you have an active lip sore at the time of kissing as its not clear in your opening statement

And you say "it is rarely if possible at all“ , does this mean that this kind of oral-kissing-gential transmission possibility is low?

Ok sorry to bother you again. I never performed  oral sex on my girl.
Given the fact mentioned above, is it safe to assume that my chances are low and right now I can forget it and not to take a blood test? Of course I am going to check if there will be even the mildest symtoms on my genital.

If you suspect you have oral hsv1 and want to protect your girlfriend from giving her oral sex as well then have a blood test. If you have oral hsv1 and youve had it for quite some time you cant get it genital. Also its rarely if possible at all to be passed to your genital area from her kissing you then giving you oral sex.
If you have oral hsv1 you can pass it to your girl friends genital area by oral sex.

I think this is quite similar to the question that whether the HSV-1 on the mouth could autoinfect the genitals.

Yes I was having it for 10 days. And according to what I remember, I have had some similar symtoms years ago especially when I was tired but the outbreak in January was most severe.

And this was the first time that we have oral sex, for both of us in our life. My biggest concern is could the virus entered he mouth and then passed to my genital.

Ok thanks. One last question, given the fact that my girlfriend and I are totally fine, do you think it is necesary that I do this test? O I can just calm down and need not to worry about it?

Only way to know is have a blood test igg type specific and if the number are high, like over 5 (the higher the better) it could be inferred that its an old infection.

Hi, thanks for your reply, Question is, I do not know for sure if it was the first time that I have it. I was travelling a lot and did not have enough rest when the outbreak on my mouth came out and it took 10 days to fully recovered. But I did not have other symtoms at the time. So could you tell me if I probably have had it when I was younger? I was 25 years old.
Actually I did feel ichy on my mouth years ago sometimes but never noticed if there were some cold sores. Maybe the previous outbreaks were mild?
Please help me.

Hi, when a person has a long term herpes in one area, they are basicly immune to contracting it in another.
