Hello and welcome to the forum.  We always recommend an annual physical which can help detect if there are changes in blood pressure.  Increasing age is a risk factor for developing hyper tension.  Here is a full list of risks. https://www.webmd.com/men/guide/high-blood-pressure.

You had a real infarction at 35?  That must have been a scary episode.  Did you lose renal function from this? Do they have any understanding as to why this happened and at such a young age?

That does seem young to have a kidney infarction.  Do you have any residual affects from that or do the doctors know why you have it? We all are at a n increased risk for high blood pressure.
