Rabies?

Hello , in midnight I was walking in the street, I stepped on a tree branch and it poked me in my feet, and then I noticed many cats hovering around the place. I am afraid of catching rabies what if a tree branch contains saliva of rabid cat?and what brothers me is that I'm in country have high risk of rabies .I'm really worried

You have no risk of rabies. Rabies dies in dried saliva. Getting bit by an animal is the usual way to get it.
