Enlarged lymph nodes and one brain lesion, all tests normal

Hi, for the past 3 months I have experienced very mild tingling in my right nostril, and sometimes in my right hand. I did an MRI and one single brain lesion showed up. I then did a CT scan of my torso which showed my chest lymph nodes are inflamed. Spine MRI clear, all blood tests clear. Lumbar puncture clear. No one is able to tell me is wrong with me!! Has anyone ever had anything similar? I am female in my mid-30s. Thank you.

Hi , we are not doctors on here but I can give you some advice. Since you had a brain lesion it may be the cause of your symptoms. If you haven't seen a neurologist I would talk to them about your symptoms and results. The lymph nodes being inflamed may or may not be related. So I would get copies of those scans and bring them to your appointment.  Also, did the scan of your torso show your spine? If that was normal that is good. But, you have some type of neurological symptoms. As, what the lesion is and would it cause these sypmtoms. Is there any danger having the lesion. The neurologist should be able to explain this. If you are on any new meds they could cause tingling or some symptoms like this. But it is too coincidental that you have a brain lesion. I wouldn't ignore it until you get an answer whether it is important or not. You should get a complete blood count as well.

This is hard to know. Do you have any other symptoms? Did the doctor say what type of brain lesion you had? Lymph nodes are usually caused by bacterial or viral infections or just fighting something off or by other problems such as tumors. But since yours is normal that doesn't fit and your blood tests are normal.  Was your white blood cell count elevated? It could just be a neuropathy.
