Do I have IBS?

Hello,
I have been sick for about 6 weeks with this:
It started with flu-like symptoms (Nausea, Diharrea, Fever) and now it has progressed to this odd feeling:
I wake up in the morning with stomach cramps, i usually go for Diharrea soon after i wake up. I will often feel an overwhelming sense of Nausea at random parts of the day. I have been feeling this for 4 weeks now and I have consulted a Doctor (he made me go for X-rays, blood-tests and an Ultrasound, and told me i have a large stool build-up in my colon) I find it odd, however, that this "stool build-up" is making me Nauseous.

Is there any other explanations?

You might want to try a stool test, tell him about undigested food in your stool. Could be c-diff, giardia. You may also want to try a hydrogen breath test, I tested postive on this. It is for bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine.  It can be very difficult to get these tests done, sometimes you have to print something out from the internet and bring it to him. But at the same time, almost make the doctor feel like he is figuring it out himself.  If that doesn't work just refuse to leave until you get your test.
