Best advice I have is elimination diet. Start with gluten and dairy. That eliminates my symptoms permanently unless I slip up
Well, IBS is a tricky thing to have, one minute you need the loo alot, and then another time you may become constipated which causes all kinds of uncomfortable symptoms! I have IBS, I have had it for many years, the way I get by is too eat a good clean diet, drink plenty of water, exercise, but don't stress out, because believe me, being stressed just makes everything a whole lot worse, but having IBS is not a big major thing, and it shouldnt really interfere with your life :) Don't worry, things will get easier once you get into a routine! If you're are too worried about this, see your Dr and explain your feelings :) Good luck!
i haven't been any great "success story". My intestines are in sorry shape. I have taken klonopin for anxiety which helps. No stomach med has helped. all tests negative. Try the right diet and avoid stress. What else can you do?
