I have been suffering with constipation for years and have done all commons remedies (water intake, coloce, Metamucil, prune juice, fruits, etc) and nothing really works for long term.
For me eliminating gluten and dairy were the only ways to eliminate my constipation. I also don't eat any protein bars of any kind. Those are the worst for constipation. I eat papaya every morning when constipated but it doesn't even happen anymore unless I get exposure to gluten
