MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
Diseases like hypothyroidism, or heavy exercise or drinking alcohol in the recent past before the test can show an abnormally high CPK. Hence this aspect has to be ruled out. If CPK is high, ask your doctor for a CPK isoenzyme test. CPK-1 or CPK-BB is elevated in brain or lung pathology. CPK-MB or CPK-2 in heart pathology and CPK-3 or CPK-MM is elevated if skeletal muscles are the cause (used to differentiate dermatomyositis and polymyositis).
Getting the correct diagnosis for the high CPK will help treat the condition and improve your health. Do discuss this with your doctor. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.

My CREATINE KINASE is high and Angiotensin-1 converting enzyme high.

My problems are muscle pains, body inflammation and Itchy.

I am hypothyroid  and Fibro.

I am visiting several doctors but no clue yet.
