Kidney failure and CHF insane itching!!!!!

My mom is in stage 4 kidney failure and she is going crazy from the constant need to itch. She is also in end stage CHF. What can be done to help the itch so she can get some long term relief. Please help!! I keep rubbing her down with lotion but it is very short term relief. I know it is because of the kidney failure. Thank you.

Hi Sherry, my mom is refusing any types of invasive treatment, including a catherization for her heart failure. Thank you for info on diet and protein but what is TCM?
