Kidney stents

I just had my third stent in 3 weeks removed this afternoon and I feel like I want to die. I had a stone lithotripsy on Jan. 12, 2012, and was sent home on Jan 16, still bleeding and in sever pain after they remove the stent at the hospital. On Wednesday Jan. 18 I blacked out st hom from

Hello and hope you are doing well.

The post procedure inflammation and swelling could be causing the pain. As this settles, the pain should come down. Sometimes the pain could be due to an infection, so if the pain is worsening or if you develop additional symptoms like fever please consult your doctor. In the meantime take OTC pain killers to help with the pain and plenty of oral fluids.
