Symptoms of leukaemia or Hodgkin's lymphoma

Hi, I have a sore throat on one side of my neck when I swallow. It's not really in the throat because it's not in the middle of my neck it's on the side under my jaw and when I feel around there I think I can feel swollen lymph nodes so I am really scared is this a symptom of the cancers? Does it mean I have one of those? I am really worried

Don't worry until you have something to worry about. I use to worry about everything and when I started to control worrying about stuff I felt more able to cope. Everyone is going to tell you to see a dr. Part of a dr.s normal exam is to check the lymph nodes so I would tell him that you just want the normal exam to see if he or she thinks something is wrong. If he says all is ok then I would tell him about the swollen lymph nodes. I would tell him that your have a  sore throat on one side when you swallow. If you don't have a dr find one you like. The dr I found is terrific and his office is run better than I have seen any office run. I have insurance problems so I don't see him as often as I should. Good luck Angel. Mia in Miami
