Hello and hope you are doing well.

The ALT and AST are elevated in liver disorders. Besides this they are also elevated in conditions like muscle injury and sometimes due to medications. If you do not have symptoms of liver disease like jaundice, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and fever, I would advise you to wait for now and repeat the test after four weeks to see how the levels are progressing.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Sounds like your Doctor ran all the appropriate test and everything was normal. Several things can cause elevated liver enzymes with nothing to be concerned about, your doc will probably retest you in a few weeks and make sure things are back to normal. In the meantime, do you take a lot of Iboprophen?, Anything going on serious with your Liver you would be having Yellowing of the whites of your eyes, skin, looking jaundice or general malice sounds like a Urinary Tract Infection to me. Good Luck
