MDMA and liver health

I was tested positive for HIV this February. I have been an occasional user of MDMA via syringe. I tested negative for Hepatitis B and C. During the first week of June, I suddenly came down with a fever which wouldn't go away. Later the doctors found a lesion on my liver, for which I was treated with Metronidazole (Metrogel) injections, and later metrogel tablets. Recent CT scan shows "a cystic lesion on the liver, measuring 4x3.5 cms with a smooth enhancing wall seen in segment IV. There is no dilation of IHBR. The portal vein appears normal." The rest of the CT scan is insignificant.

My question is, can MDMA affect liver health? I use it only once in 3-4 months. The last time I used was probably in May. I plan to use it in October again once. Can I do that?
