My SGOT is 863 and SGPT is 2128 is this possible?

I have itching all over my body and don't feel good. My blood test came with very strange numbers SGOT-863 and SGPT- 2128. What could be the problem and what type of doctor i should see?

hi. my mom's sgot and sgpt has reached more than 3 times the normal range.  she has been on tamoxifen for the past 3 years tho it has been suspended for the past 2 weeks due to the above indicators.  is there anything she can do/take to help lower the sgot and sgpt? thanks very much

I imagine they will run tests frequently untill they get at the cause, or can establish a lowering trend.

Docs will check for hep, and will also look at any environmental toxins you may have encountered that would cause this (amanita Phalloid mushiooms, acetominphen, solvents, etc).

Are you currently in a doctors care?  If not I would waste zero time in seeking a competent hepatologist
