Smoked 1 cigarette 3 days later chronic chest pain and lymph node on neck

Hello, i have recently got some cigarettes - lucky strike reds delivered from indonesia on inspection my thought are these are fakes, they tasted really awful and harsh i took in total 2 big inhalations and threw them all out. the next day and today i have very painful chest, moving causes pain aswell as breathing in deeply. today i have gotten a swollen lymph node on the left of my neck which is painful.. all this from 1 cigarette!! im not a smoker, mabye socially but all up this year i have had 2! any thoughts?

Hey, no longer have any pain and the lymph node went away after a week. this was most defiantly related from the cigarette. What ever was in the cigarette lead to the infection. im 24 and very healthy my thoughts are the cigarettes = which are clearly fake where loaded with harmfull fillers.

Hi there. Your symptoms are suggestive of pleurisy, which is the inflammation of lungs and chest lining leading to sharp chest pain when one takes a deep breath. It could be lung inflammation due to infections like pneumonia or tuberculosis. The swollen neck lymph node could be due to drainage from lungs/pleura. The association with the single cigarette smoke could be incidental and you are wrongly associating. It is most likely an underlying lung infection manifesting needs urgent physician’s attention.
