EBV and LYME

I've read from several different sources that having the EBV virus can effect your lyme tests.  Does anyone know anything about this?

Here is an clip of one that I read:

"Reasons you may not be able to have the test or why the results may not be helpful include:

You have a viral infection, such as Epstein-Barr virus or HIV.
You have another bacterial infection, such as syphilis.
You have high lipid levels. "

Well I know I don't have HIV or Syphilis, but I have recently tested Postive of EBV.
Could this have of had an effect on my WB?

Thanks.

Did you read about band #30 on Dr. C's website in the health pages?  It's a significant band in his opinion.

Oh great!  Band 30 is the one that showed up on mine!!  Also 41.

(sigh) could these bands be just because I've had past EBV?

Time for IGENEX!!!

I think it is band #30/31 that can cross react with EBV.  I think IgeneX now has a confirmatory test if  you have only #30/31 show up.  I think they say that if you have other lyme specific bands show up that it is less likely just EBV causing the 31 to show up.
