Making your body more alkaline (article) + personal update

This theory to helping your body fight the good fight against Lyme and coinfections not only makes sense, but can only help your health in general.

I'm going to give this a SERIOUS 21 day shot.  I'll keep you guys updated along the way.  Fortunately, my neighbor has one of those $500 juicers that I can borrow;). I'm still reeling from my last flare that started over 3 weeks ago.  My symptoms are rotating throughout my body.  It is the oddest thing to try to explain.  Week 1: insanely sore throat; Week 2: stiff neck; Week 3: severe upper back pain that pulled through chest and made taking a good breath unbearable; currently: nausea, vomiting, upper abdominal pain.  It's like the entire awfulness is very slowly moving south.  Crazy, right?!  Anywho, I thought I'd give you guys an update and give this alkaline diet a good shot.  Wish me luck!
Also, I am starting A-Bart this week and heard the herxing from it gets pretty awful, so I'll probably be needing some support through that as well:(.

I was on plaquenil with Biaxin for a little while.  My doc said plaquenil makes the body more alkaline, making Biaxin significantly more effective.

I drank lemon water for several months when I first got diagnosed. I still find it counter-intuitive that what I thought were acidic lemons would make me more alkaline.  I've seen info that cancer cells divide more in acidic environments, so staying more alkaline supposedly helps ward off cancer. An added bonus. Red meat makes the body more acidic, so I'll bet there's no red meat in your diet.

Let us know if the diet seems to help!  Maybe I need to go back to lemon water...

Btw, still on doxy, bactrim, azith, and plaquenil (told to start Mepron after plaquenil runs out).
