Hi All~

Just wondering how long have some of you had lyme before getting diagnosed?

Well from the onset of symptoms I would say about 2 years.  Got sick in May 07 and got diagnosed in July of 09.  

However, I've been exposed to ticks and tick bites since I was a baby.  My family is HUGE outdoorists and my mom remembers pulling ticks off me since I was tiny.  Who knows... I may have been carrying this **** for much much longer before showing severe symptoms...

I had symptoms for longer, but actively sought a diagnosis for about a year before seeking out an LLMD who diagnosed me.  I had several negative Lyme tests and was told things like "Lyme doesn't do that," etc.

I have been sick for 12 yrs and am just now getting tested.

i went 3 years undiagnosed but had symptoms for about 10 years had heart trouble  in the mid 90ty's and testicle pain that nobody could figure out, that has all went away being on antibods

approx. 3 years - miserable/anxious/wondering etc; - if only I had known about lyme  - when I yanked that 'horror movie' character - from my buttock!!!
