treatment for lyme

My son was treated for 21 days with amoxicillan after testing positive for lyme. It presented itself with headaches, tingling and bells palsy. After 21 days he was deemed cured . Three weeks later he developed a stiff neck and some unusual signs such as constant lip licking, anxiety, sleep issues. His neck progressed to the shoulder and now a winged scapula which is caused by damage to thoracic nerve. As a mom it seems Lyme related but doctor doesn't want to treat. Does anyone feel as though I'm crazy or is it warranted to go to another doctor.

I think the thoracic nerve damage is from lyme.  I would do what cave76 said above, find a llmd.

He ws probably treated by the IDSA's standard, which is not what Lyme knowledgeable doctors think is enough. Not by a long shot.

You're not crazy. Find an Lyme Literate Medical Doctor (LLMD), which is the Lyme communities name for a doctor that specializes in TBI's.

They're rare though. And because of the political/insurance companies actions, they often do not accept MediCare, MediCade or insurance. Sorry.
