She asked for a divorce and in return he chopped her head off.  Word has it that it was suppose to be an "honor killing".  I hope he will get the death penalty.  I hope he does not disappear like the muslim father in TX who killed his two beautiful daughters because they became "to western".  He booked out and nobody can't find him.

I had no idea that any kind of Islamic fanatic would carry over the "tradition" over honor killings here. I'm frankly outraged that the countries where they happen don't take a stance against them. Some countries that have made them illegal still look the other way when they happen. There has to be a basic respect for human life and that completely violates it.

jolleyman is right, we are in trouble, i've been in afghanistan for the last 2 mnths, its not getting better, an this happened in ny.  The current legal system will not be of any help in the long run, money dictates whose inoccent an guilty. the system is no longer for justice it doesnt exist. Look at all the people who have made billions in wallstreet, turns out most of them were stealing it. Now the taxpayers are having to foot the bill with thie bailout package, the road to hell was paved with god intentions.   All we can do know is pray for God to intervene soon

That is the problem.We respect other religions, but we tend to forget, we live in the land of the free.Not all religions respect the freedom that was fought for in this Country.They will practice their faith as they see fit.What are they going to do to him? It is his culture.Because he lives here means he has the freedom to do as he was taught and believes. When our founding fathers described our laws in the name of God, it was for value of life. This Country now wants the worldly cultures practiced here. There are many Muslims in this country. Just like Christians being forced to forget our God, all other religions and freedoms are being forced to acceptance. If we cannot have God in the Country, then it leaves us open to gods.Most of us have no idea half of what goes on. We have all learned English and that is what was spoken when we became a Country, now they want to change it.Are we not still the USA?

I have no problem with anyone practicing any religion, as long as it doesn't go against the laws of this country  (United States). If a woman's religion says she is to wear a veil over her face....fine,...but you better remove it for a drivers licence picture, or if the cops pull you over etc.
If you can't obey the US laws, then go some where else, and please let the door hit you in the a$$ on the way out.
