I'm for Prop 8, marriage is the ralationship between husband and wife.
I aree with you its No to Prop 8, I think they will overtutrn it.
See why I just continue to love you more and more! :) I can't imagine life without my best friend. We have been together (best friends) for 15+ years and hope and pray he will find someone to spend his life with. Happiness shouldn't be conditional.
I agree, people should be able to be happy regardless of their sexual preferences. My brother is gay and has been with the same partner for almost 32 years. His partner is a part of this family and has always been as such.
I agree. Even though I do believe that "traditional" marriage is a man and woman - I have homosexual friends that are as, if not more, committed than some of my straight couple friends.
My MAIN issue is the rights that are not granted to a non-man and woman couple - such as health insurance for the spouse. I have a friend that has a partner and she is self-employed. If they were "married" or considered a domestic partner - whatever - she could have the same insurance as her "spouse". Since she doesn't - she pays an Un-Godly amount for a horrible policy. There are other issues there - just one example.
I guess I think that (after being exposed to the lifestyle through my close friends) people are people are people. There are good straight people / bad straight people.....good gay people / bad gay people. We all deserve to be happy ....PERIOD - Leave people be. What makes any one of us happy is no one else's business - and I don't see why anyone should oppose something that doesn't really affect them. I can think of a lot worse things in the world than 2 women loving each other or 2 men loving each other.
Leave people be.
Now what's going to happen but some lawsuits will be started and more $$ will be spent challenging it, and we'll be throwing TONS more money at the issue, that's all.
Leave people be.
