Could you explain more in detail what you mean, I was sterilised at age 25 after my forth child and the first sign of things changing was 2 years ago at age 46, my periods have been irregular since, I have anxiety now and get light headed feelings which isn't nice. Is this what you have???

I am sorry you are suffering the ovarian dysfunction effects of a tubal and were not told about this possible side effect. I was also misinformed as well as over-treated (unnecessary hysterectomy and ovary removal / castration) for a benign ovarian cyst.

You could try birth control pills or hormone replacement. You would need to take a progestin or progesterone along with any estrogen (combined HRT) to protect your uterine lining from the proliferative effects of estrogen. There are pills or patches.

The same thing happened to me. Exact same. The doctors outright LIE or are uneducated.
Nicoledenise - I'm sorry you were lied to about the after effects of tubal sterilization known as "post tubal sterilization syndrome" or "post tubal ligation syndrome" detailed here - http://www.tubal.org/symptoms-of-pts.htm.
