i am 48 the last past year my period came on twice a year an would last for 3 daysit came on this time an its been on for 13 days light red it went off for 2 days an came right back on is this normal for a person my age its not a constant flow

I would suggest for you to check in with your gyn. You could have the onstart of menopause which could make your period abnormal. You could also have a hormonal inbalance, which could result in abnormal bleeding.

yes this is normal. As long as you are not hemoraging . Sounds like you may be experiencing beginning stages of Menopause.
