A funny but logical answer from other website
That is the same thing as asking if sex causes blindness.
But have you ever heard of a prostitute going blind?
No, probably not.

You got a layman response because you failed to post on the doctor boards.  Nobody's fault but yours.  But you are seriously confused.  I told you how to achieve balance.  Masturbation itself is not harmful.  If you start doing a variety of things and stop focusing on your guilty feelings, you can restore balance.  You sound very superstitious.

Your problems are not caused by masturbation.  Masturbation is not a medical problem.  Some cultures teach its members to be ashamed of their bodies and the way they work, but cultural customs are not necessarily based in logic.  A healthy male will either masturbate to release sexual energy or have nocturnal emissions, but the body must be ready when it is time to fertilize an egg, so the body is just doing what it needs to do to be healthy.  The urge to masturbate is natural and has no negative physical consequences when done in private.

Your life is out of balance.  You need to exercise and do physical activity.  Interact with people socially as possible.  You need to eat a diet with vegetables, fruit, and lean meat and/or poultry and/or fish.  Take care of personal grooming.  Think of masturbation as part of a balanced life while you do not have a partner to enjoy your body with.  This is balance.  Don't worry so much.  Many cultures try to make people feel guilty over things that are not evil.  It causes a lot of worry that is a waste of time and energy.
