Bleeding at the top of butt crack

i noticed this for the first time when i woke up yesterday and the top of my butt crack was a little tender, (it does not hurt at all) but if i put some tissue on it, i notice an amount of blood on the tissue, if i push tissue onto the tender area it will push quiet a lot of blood onto the tissue, after doing this a few times, it seems to stop bleeding, but i woke up this morning and the same thing. there did seem to be much less blood today however, and i barely noticed it at all tbh.

its strange because there is a small lump right at the top, but apart from being tender, there is almost no pain.
im 19, and i think being a bit over weight makes it harder to notice any lump/etc there.

im a little worried and i'd rarther not go to the doctor if i can help it, but will if required. help is appreciated, :)

You could have a little fissure (tear) or hemorrhoid, both of which are caused by constipation usually.  Try adding Metamucil.  Try cutting back on dairy.

There is also a problem called pilonidal cyst, but that's more pus than blood.

Try to put a little vaseline on it a couple of times a day.  This may be just dry skin and your pants rubbing against it.
