Crack on glans

I have a horizontal crack on my glans that runs between the glans and corona.  It appeared overnight when I was 14, without any pain or bleeding.  I have been assured by  4 doctors that this is a normal penis-head variant and it is just the way I am.  In short, it is nothing to worry about.  I am fine with this, but what is the medical name for this crack?  For want of a better name, I call it a circlet because it is the part of the crown (corona) that rests on the head (glans).

Is it a crack or a line? A crack is a split in the skin, where it's open.

There is a line called the penile raphe. This line is on the underside of the penis and goes from the anus all the way up to the head of the penis. It may be more visible in some spots than others.

If you google that, you can see images of it, and see if that fits what you are talking about.

Actually, it is a split in the tissue of the glans right where it meets the corona.  Instead of a sudden change in color where the glans and corona meet, there is this split, revealing some underlying tissue.  There was never any pain or bleeding or oozing of fluids, so I am OK with my doctors saying it is nothing to worry about and it hasn't misbehaved in any way for the last 50 years.  If there is a way to post images, I would do so.
You can't post genital pics on our site, but you can upload them to a hosting site, and then link them here.
