Burning feels when inside of Vagina

Hi, 2 weeks ago I had itch and redness swollen at the shaft of my penis and have seek a doctor. Doctor has prescribe me with anti fungal cream and itch relieve cream as well as antibiotics due to Balanitis. Upon finishing the antibiotics, me and my girlfriend see that the swelling is no more and so does the redness is not as much as before. We tried to have sex, but upon insertion there is huge discomfort for me and after inserting there is a instant burning feel which is 10/10 painful which I then immediately stop and go get a cold water wash. I have no idea is the pain coming from and now it seems all red and somehow swollen again. We have constant sex for 2 years without condom now. It is the first time this is happening and is causing alot of stress in both of us. My urology doctor appointment is 29 Oct, meanwhile I like to find out more on my own first.
