Passing Blood while peeing..

I recently tried to hold back peeing as I sneezed & ended up with a burning sensation & passing a little blood. Is this serious & should I consult a doctor immediately?

Hello and welcome to MedHelp's forums.  Thanks for the question.  It is always best to check with your doctor.  While it could be a one time situation and likely is, getting checked out is the wise thing to do.  Here are common reasons why someone has blood in urine https://www.webmd.com/digestive-disorders/blood-in-urine-causes#1  If you continue to have the blood, definitely get checked out soon.  Let us know if it continues to happen.
