Mere PSA level being high does not confirm anything. You may need to retest and do further testing if it is consistently high. In any case, worrying does not help any way, so do not worry.

You are absolutly right about the worrying. It is just that I watched my father die from metastatic prostate cancer but that was in the late 80's. I know that PC is no longer a death sentence but it is still hard not to focus on experiences. He is seeing a urologist next week and we will know more then. Thanks so much for replying.
