Hi,
How are you?
There is a possibility that your symptoms are due to hemiplegic migraine. In hemiplegic migraine the headaches are associated with weakness and numbness in one half of the body. There are medications available which help to control migraine to a large extent like imitrex and NSAIDS.
Please seek a second opinion with a neurologist and also keep a headache diary. The headache diary will help you to identify a trigger for your migraines. Take care!
Hello Dear,
You probably have hemiplegic migraine where , the symptoms are indicative of vascular disease and can be thought to be stroke. There are neurological signs of numbness and associated weakness with hemiplegic migraine. You need to go for regular follow ups and monitor your blood pressure levels regularly. .You should consult a neurologist and discuss regarding the treatment options as triptans are contraindicated due to their vasoconstrictive properties which may aggravate the pain.
