will progesterone help?

hi im 25 years old n had a miscarriage last year due to low progeterone. nw i hav concieved again... just gt d test positive
but my progesterone level is still low 13... but my dr has started giving me injections of natural progestrone... wil i miscarry again or wud it b normal nw???

If you already know that you have low Progesterone levels than it would be for the best to take the Progesterone. I have had 2 m/c's and they never checked my Progesterone so this time I started it at CD15 and got my BFP on 12DPO. So far so good! Good luck to you!

I think the progesterone is a good idea and I agree with mella in that it makes you very sleepy .. I had lots of pregnancy symptoms that come with it too .. when I stopped taking it (at 4 weeks pg they said that my body was producing enough) I kept on taking a herbal tablet chaste tree that I had been taking before conceiving .. I am a nutritionist so know that this is completely safe in pregnancy and it works by balancing female hormones .. so if you don't have enough progesterone, it will help your body to produce more itself.

i had the same thing wrong i had 2 misscarriages so when i recently found out i was preg n the doc did the counts my progesterone was low as well so she put me on the oral kind i take 200 mg 2times a day makes me sleepy but its so worth it i have been on it since i was 4 weeks and here i am 8 weeks 4 days and so far so good i have had 2 ultrasounds and both came out good the first one the babys heart beat was 99 bpm n the one i got at 8 weeks it was 169 bpm which the doc said is really good!!!! best of luck to u and stay positive i know its really hard but just stay positive and pray!!!
