Ectopic Pregnancy

I got pregnant on my 1st round of clomid (50mg days 4-8). I found out on november 24th. I was diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy last week. I had the Methotrexate shot on 12/10. I passed the fetus on friday 12/12 :(  Does anyone know how long I should wait to ttc again??

When I had my ectopic they told me to wait 2-3 months to ttc again after having the methotrexate shot.  Your best bet is to call your OB/RE and ask for thier reccomendation, I hope this helps.  I am so sorry for your loss and wish you the best of luck.........

im sorry for your loss...i would agreen with the first comment and wait 2-3 months to make sure the methotrexate is out of your system. After 2-3 healthy periods you should be good to go! My mom had 6 healthy kids and had and ectopic pregnancy along with 2 other mc so dont loose hope!

i had 2 ectopic pregnancies and my obgyn told me and my husband not to try again until about 3 months because of the methotrexate shot. that shot is meant to disolve the pregnancy that's in the tube so you definately should wait about 3 months but your best bet is to talk to your doctor. but don't lose hope because i had my first ectopic pregnancy, less than a year later we had a beautiful little girl. so good luck and lots of baby dust to you.

I'm sorry for your loss. I know with my natural m/cs I was told to wait 3 cycles but we chose not to. I would think if you had no complications it would be the same for you but I would def talk to your dr first! I wish you the best of luck and a quick recovery!
