Low progesterone

I had a miscarriage about 4 weeks ago. The Dr was unclear on the reason but did say that I had a low progesterone level. Has anyone had this problem that can give me some insight. Has anyone one with a progesterone deficientcy ever had a sucessful pregnancy?

Thank you for responding. It is just crazy to me because I have 2 children and I have not had this problem before. Can u give me any insight on what a progesterone suppliment would be? Is it an injection or a pill or what? I have an appointment with a pre-conception counciler, I guess that that may be something we will discuss, but that is a month away b/c it is really hard to get an appointment with her, my OB refered me to her.

I was told the same thing.  The only thing the Dr. said was that I would need to start progesterone supplements BEFORE I tried again that way my body would be able to support a pregnancy.
