Had to get the shot :(

So my levels came back that they had slightly increased again to 950....  Had an ultrasound done and they couldn't see anything in the tubes, and nothing in the uterus.  So she still suspected an eptopic.  I got the methotrexate shot yesterday around noon.

Does anyone know anything about this?
Are my chances pretty good that this one shot will work and how long do I have to wait to TTC again?

Also when can I have a glass of wine after the shot?  Or take vitatims .... things like that?

dr wanted me to take the methotrexate shot too b/c my hcg was going down too slow.  The doctor was concerned that it might be ectopic but I told her i would be in pain then and I didn't believe her so I refused to take the shot.  She said if I take the shot I can't take vitamins and can't ttc for 6 months.  Since the shot is very strong and must wait 6 months for all the medicine to clear.

I refused and had acupuncture then the hcg went down more, I had a miscarriage on 2/22 at 610 and at 10 on 4/8.
