No af 6 weeks after miscarriage

Hi all,
I am new to this forum but I am so glad to know that there are others out there going through the same thing! It really helps to ease the pain. I had a miscarriage in mid-March. I was about 8 weeks along when I had my first ultrasound and they never heard a heartbeat. I was 11 weeks when it passed naturally. I bled for about 10 days, and had sex once around the 2 week mark. I was charting and noticed after the fact I had a dip that day and bbts have been relatively high since (23 days now)! I have had nausea, sore bbs, and bloating, starting to feel like cramps are coming on, but nothing yet. As usual, I am wondering if I am just having wishful thinking. Well, now it's been 6 weeks since the miscarriage and no AF. I am now on CD43 (I think 23 dpo) have had BFNs for the last week. The first time I didn't take a test until 7 weeks & got my BFP. Anyone out there have a similar story? Do miscarriages make the hormone show up later maybe? Would love to hear. Thanks!

Hi Rainbow your welcome encouragement goes a long way especially for the women who have been through what we have. That's a good temp I always thought that if your temp stayed in the 97 and 98 that it's a very good sign. And yes I do also get the bloating from time to time it also feels like I'm going to be starting my period, like I'll get the AF cramps, but nothing ever happens. I pray your AF doesn't show up and instead you get BFP! Also I read this piece of info recently because I'm obsessed with my progesterone if you have spotting accompanied with lower back pain it could be a sign of low progesterone. But they also go on to say it could just be normal pregnancy symptoms, but if you want to be on the safe side I would suggest when you go to the doc to ask them to check your progesterone for you. ps I have no idea what is going on today. Temp spiked to 98.4, and have super cramps like AF is coming. A little bit of light brown discharge but that's about it. I don't usually get any discharge before AF that I remember anyway.

Thanks Ashley! Good luck to you too! I know what you mean about the BFNs - they are terrible! Every time I think I know what is going on with my body I feel like they are trying to tell me otherwise. They are the devil haha....
That is kind of neat that we all experienced this around the same day so we can share.

I'm in the same predicament! I miscarried on 3/16 and a d&c that day. My husband and I have been actively trying again and still no period! It sounds like you are pregnant : ) I would test in a few weeks just to make sure you don't get your period because continuously getting a BFN can make you sad. I've heard numerous stories about getting pregnant after a miscarriage, god is amazing. Good luck and I'm sending you baby dust!!

One more question. Do you feel bloated a lot like when you are going to get AF? My bloating comes & goes but it is pretty intense today, so I hope she is not coming!

Hi - thanks for the encouragement. I am thinking positive also. I had another spike today in bbts - 98.4! I slept in a little later, about 45 mins but still, I am excited. I have that leaking feeling too. Today I actually had a bunch of discharge that was kind of  clear and brownish, but I have read that can be completely normal too. I have a ton of back pain, so I hope I find out something soon. I plan to test again next week.

Thanks a bunch! And yes God is Awesome huh? Great about your hCG the doc told me the same mine dropped from 10822 to 32 in about a week. And YES your BBT does look very similar to mine! And also the discharge. Try not to be discouraged I really have a feeling you will get your BFP you have all the symptoms I had and then some. I have only had some headaches a little bit of sore boobs and peeing a lot. Also I don't know if this has happened to you, but every now and then I feel like I'm leaking something, but then when I use the bathroom theirs only some discharge I guess it is more like creamy clearish. Well definitely keep me updated on any new info, I'm always here to talk! God Bless!

Also meant to mention, I had that creamy lotion like discharge also last week. This week it is more clearish & wet. Almost like when I ovulate...hmmm? Only time will tell I guess. :(

Thanks so much Faith in Him - which I do have a lot of faith in him! Congrats on your BFP! My bbts look VERY similar to yours! I will post below. I just get so down every time I get a BFN since I got a BFP the first time I tested last time (didn't think it was a possibility so I really didn't think about it until 7 weeks).
Regarding the levels from the miscarriage, they did take blood on March 24 & they were at 11 I believe, which the Dr told me was "basically back to 0" so I didn't need to come back. We then had sex on the 27th, not even trying, just glad to be past the miscarriage :)

I didn't take them today. I had some twinges of pain in my lower right uterus area, on the 11th which was a slight thermal change and also twinges on the 13th in the same spot. Where their was also a slight thermal shift.(Thermal shift indicates implantation 6-12 days after O) Sorry if this is TMI, but I also had some creamy lotion-like cervical mucus. Which I think indicates early pregnancy. Hope this info helps!

Hi Rainbow I'm very sorry for what you went through, I was in a similar situation. I miscarried on March 16th never saw the baby just empty gestational sac. I was also about 11 1/2weeks when my natural miscarriage finally happened. I started OPK on April 1st, ovulated on the 3rd(had sex on 1st and 5th) I've been charting my BBT since March 21st. My BBT stayed up since the 5th and kept rising. I did a HPT on April 16th and 17th and got a BFP! Which made me 14DPO. Went to the doctors and confirmed it was a new pregnancy. I have an ultrasound on May 4th so I'm not sure how far along I am. Maybe about 5weeks. You're having a lot of symptoms which is a very strong indicator! I really think it's very possible, and if you say that you didn't get a positive until 7 weeks then I would wait a week and try Early response pregnancy test because of their sensitivity.  Also one question did the doctors follow your hCG down to 5? I don't think miscarriages can make hCG show up later. I'll post my BBT and you can compare them to yours. I'll be praying you get your BFP! By the way welcome to the site I am also new.:)
