What does this all mean?

Yesterday I was getting brown discharge and now this morning I have red (with a little bit of brown) colored blood. What does this mean? Am I pregnant? If I am pregnant am I having a miscarriage?

i had the same last month, unusual light period which lasted 11 days, started with brown spotting for 4 days then got a bit heavier, pink spotting for about 5-6 days..tests are negative :(
