empty sac

Hey, i am 21 years old and found out i was prego for the frist time with my boyfriend of 6 years.  I was not really sure on how many week prego i was so they ask me for the first day of my last period and i told them june 16th. they then told me they thought i was 12 weeks so they tryed to hear the heartbeat and did not hear anything. they then set me up with an u/s because he said i might only be 7 to 10 weeks. when they did the u/s they said that my sac was empty and that there was no baby. I cryed and cryed and they sent me to the hospital to have my hcg level checked and they said in 48 hours i had to have my hcg level checked again at the hospital to see if the level went up or down. they told me i would know this monday if i have had an early misc. But I dont understand because i have not had any blood at all just cramps. I told the doctor that i was having cramps when i first found out i was prego and they told me that it was normal! I am very upset and was wondering if any one has had this happen to them and there baby ok and not miscarried?

Unfortunately, I just had the very same thing happen. I just hope your outcome is different than mine. My LMP was July 1rst. I went for a check up and should have been 8 weeks (a little over 2 weeks ago). and couldn't see a baby or heartbeat. They said I was only measuring about 6 weeks prego. I had to go back for a 2 week follow up (last week) and unfortunately the pregnancy still measured 6 weeks. I had to have a D&C on Friday. I really hope that your case is better. It could be that you ovulated late, I will keep you and your baby in my prayers. IF you need someone to talk to, I am here.
