clinic appointment - hope maybe? PT

had my appointment at the clinic tuesday. the PA was nice and listened. they had all the reports from my ER/day stay in hospital. she told me the ER notes say possible mild heart attack from EKG readings, but she couldn't see it. I asked about the reduced T and R waves. what did that mean. great answer "something is going on in that part of the heart."  lol geez yeah think? good old inconclusive me. HA! anyway the blood would all looked good so nothing to worry about all is fine there.

lucky me i get a free well women appointment and a free mamo. couldn't talk her out of that one. we talked about my increased difficulty with balance, spasms, walking and all. she checked my reflexes and i didn't feel the tap and i don't think she even hit the right place. i said so. never had a doctor that didn't have to take a min to find the correct spot. legs are not straight so it takes looking or feeling for the right place.

anyway the good news: she said they could get me into physical therapy at the hospital. maybe some hope there. they have very limited funds but she was going to put in for me to see a neuro. she didn't know if they would have funding for that or not. She also make an appointment for me to be seen by the doctor in charge of the clinic next month because he has been around a long time and might know other ways I could get some help. got scrips for my meds and she also put me on Neurontin. hope that it helps some.

I have paperwork to complete - really how much do i spend on food? gas for the car? really - whatever i can .
anyway, just wanted to update that if you keep looking and talking to people sometimes you find possible leads to some help even when you don't have money. ok so i haven't got my paperworked finished and they ask for tax return so they best not go by that. but even soo its rather low too lol.

just so cool my friend has let me use her internet access tonight. so i rambling everywhere.

Yeah I have a cool and thoughtful roommate/landlord/friend. :) she also put in grab bars in the shower for me today. I have internet on my phone but its a lot harder to use.

It does seem that things are looking up and I hope the PT comes through. Haven't heard anything yet. Did get an appointment for the manor. not looking forward to that. Never had one so...oh well.

Don't know ill get any answers but at lest getting some help with symptoms and that's great.

Hey Raz,  I'm glad you were able to get into the clinic.  I hope you can start the PT soon at the hospital.  Maybe you'll be able to get in to see a neuro, too.  Things are starting to turn around for you perhaps?  

That was nice of your friend to let you play on her computer, to let you have access to the internet.  I don't really know what we all did before the internet?  It's amazing, isn't it?
