C-Spine tonight

Well, I'm going in tonight for my first or maybe last, depending on if anything is found, Cervical MR image. It cannot be to soon IMO. My spasticity in the abdomen is really destroying me. The midnight (or midday, depending on when it happens) bowel and bladder purge is killing me.

Something I have found out the hard way, is this new body of mine cannot handle the cold. My muscles literally seize up in the cold. I cannot even bend my legs. It's getting to be quite a nightmare.

My wife and I went out this weekend to celebrate our anniversary, and though I had a nice time, the extra walking and activity really brought my body down a few notches.

Ok, I'm off on a tangent here of my complaints and not my MRI, sorry, am just feeling bad.

I hope they see something.
Have a great week all.

Hi Johnny,
Wishing you the best of luck in getting some info from your MRI!

Don't worry about venting on this site!  After all - isn't that how we can all help each other...because we all understand.

On a happy note, I'm glad you had fun with your wife on your anniversary!  It's great that you can enjoy some good times in the midst of all that is going on with your BODY!
Take care and keep us posted!
Carol

Hi Johnny, We need to blow this state and move someplace temperate. I would go for Hawaii - 82 degrees year round with tradewinds sounds good to me.

Here's hoping the Cspine tells a story.  I think I read last week 85-90% of all people with MS have lesions in the C-spine.  That is quite some number.

keep us posted, Lulu

Good luck with the MRI tonight. Cold weather makes me so much more spastic in the lower part of my body, too.
I was also wondering about if you've had a thoracic spine MRI or not?

Oh, bummer!  I have a hard time in the cold too - my back muscles start spasming.

You say you've got spasticity in the abdomen - you've had a thoracic MRI, right?
