I have been considering the treatment as well.  The money do do so is just too much.  So, I wait for Medicare to kick in and some science to occur.  I think you should read the following article:

Oh yeah, I knew that.  I was just testing you to find out if that Neuro News website is really helping you stay sharp.  I may have to take a spin over there.

(note to self: add cogfog to personal symptom list)

Hi cogmul and welcome to the forum here.  I take it you have MS?  I'm sorry to hear that, but am glad you are being agressive about finding treatment.

The screening tests are in Buffalo, NY and not Boston - (sorry twopack, it's that other B city that's really cold!). This is strictly for screening. There is no approved treatment for CCSVI if it is found - at least not in the US or CA.

You could go to Poland for screening and the surgery if found to be necessary.

We have a number of posts here about CCSVI - if you use the search function you will find the links.

good luck.  Welcome again and please stay in touch.

be well,
Lulu

They will do it in Boston if you are willing to pay $4500 to $6000.  That does include some consultation.  I believe they are offering this to help fund their research.  Here's the problem I see with it.  What if the results are positive?  Is there anything to be done with the info at this time?  You would be out of pocket big bucks and possess knowledge that gives no clear direction.

(Now that I said that, I realize I'm already all too familiar with the bit about having knowledge that gives no clear direction.  Grrrrrr)

Hope somebody else can give you better info.
