I would love to,, I don't drive though, so it can get tricky, PM me, and maybe we can see what's in the middle, and actually meet.
hugs, Pam
YOU live so close to me -- we could if you wish to :)
Lisa
Cedar point !!! That's it!! I used go on rolller coasters all the time but, with seizure disorder, lightheadedness, and vision problems, I can't anymore.. It's ok though, the kids go on kiddie rides anyway... I can sit and watch!!!!
Thanks for the invite lulu and pasterdan!!
Have a great day!!!!
Pam
Cedar Point and Toledo are each 1.75 hours from me, according to Mapquest. Louisville's 4.5.
I remember Louisville as a pretty cool town, but it's been more than 25 years since I visited. Time sure flies. Hard to say what I'll be doing in July.
L's right about Cedar Point; it's long been great if you're a coaster nut, like I used to be. I'd be willing to try it again if Mrs. would, but she's expressed her opinion on that recently, as we passed Kings Island on our March trip southward.
Hey, you're all invited to church this Sunday, NE Delaware County. PM me if you want details. Wonder how many we could gather from this board? ;>D
I always liked driving through Louisville on my way home for a visit. It's about 5 hour drive for me. I even went to the website. the MS Expo sounds great. exhausting but great. I hope you have a great time Lulu.
It is really cool to meet folks in person that you have gotten to know online. to be able to meet and talk with someone who understands what i'm going through now would be awesome. maybe one day - who knows.
I would guess your cousin is talking about Cedar Point, which is a few hours away from Toledo but worth the drive if you like, no make that LOVE roller coasters. It is the meca of coaster riders from around the world. check out their website.
Personally, I feel like I've been on a roller coaster most of my life and don't need to pay money for more thrills.
best,
Lulu
PS still serious about Louisville retreat too for anyone who can come
My cousin and I have been trying to get the family together , and she was telling me about an amusement park that is there ( of course I can't remember the name) but my kids are all excited and keep asking when we are going.
When I talk to her, I am sure we will get the plans rolling again and I will def. let you guys know the details.
I am ready for a vacation, but so far, everyone's timing is off, and my sister is getting married on my anniversary date, July 2nd. Maybe we can plan it around that time!!
Hmmm, something to think about,
Talk to ya soon,
Pam
Toledo works well for me too :)
if you get to Toledo, give me a call. We can rendezvous someplace along I-75. I know a clean road side rest stop. LOL
Ok, so far I have a cousin that lives in Omaha Nebraska, and cousin that lives in Toledo Ohio, LOL
Looks like I need to go on a vacation ... I do not fly anymore, since all of the security stuff at the airport and my husband has never been on a plane, so we would have to drive, (he would have to drive, since I don't)
Let's bombard the Dr. Oz show, how fun would that be!! And it's in NY!
YOU GUYS ARE ALL THE BEST, AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'D DO WITHOUT ALL OF YOU,
Big Hugs,
Pam
lol...midwest works for me, I'm in Nebraska! =D
I would love to meet those on the board. Maybe we could consider a weekend together in the Fall? A central location would be the Midwest (lol)...nice and convenient for me....I would love it.
I have been thinking the exact same thing this past week!
I think it would be so sweet to get together with everyone on here. I would love to meet so many of you.
To be around people who understand would be so flippin great!!!
I just love everyone on here and not sure what I'd do without you all. As some else said, I always feel like I get more on here than I give...I'm working on trying to post more and not just stalk the forum...lol
I'd be lost without all of you!!
xoxo

I agree Pamela,
This forum has done wonders for my morale. You all have helped me so much more than you know. It is always nice when people give a shout out to the others here. Each and every person on this board deserves it becasue we are all in this together.
I would like to meet everyone on here too. I will hopefully meet the Ohioans on here someday, especially now that I have a car again.
Paula
There is an MS Expo in Louisville KY on Saturday, July 23, which is about a 3 hour drive for me. I had to skip it last year due to a conflict but have already rsvp'd for this year. Turns out it is a pretty big, well put together day. their website is msexpo.org
Anyone and everyone is welcome to join me!
Getting together with people from here in person is always a special event.
Lulu
I do see it, and I really wish it could happen!! All of us together, telling stories, making eachother laugh and sharing a good cry.
Very Special and makes me smile,
Thanks guys,
Pam
Can you see it now? I mean really see all of us? All of the faces we see on screen just gathering into one big hall of a room!
Would be something super special Pam :)
Pam - what a very nice thing to say. I can see why everyone would like to meet. There are some very genuine caring people on here.

I just read your most recent post. You are one amazing woman! I have a lot of your symptoms but am just starting this road. My symptoms started with twitching about a year ago.... then progressed to my "full system meltdown" in October/November last year.
I hope to continue to be as assertive as you. Thank you.
I have wished for that very same thing. Red
This is the best forum going...
I have received more help than I've given, I try to be supportive & positive..
