DMD's

I started Avonex 3 years ago and was on it for over a year.  I then went on Betaseron.  During the times I have been on these two meds I thought I was also going through the change because of hot flashes.

I would heat up like a match and think my head was going to burn off.  Now that I am not on these two meds, went to Tysabri, I am not having hot flashes!!!

My gyn was going to put me on estrogen to help get me through it all.  Now I just wonder if I was having an allergic reaction to the DMD's.  Possibly the preservitives.

Tysabri did not cause any reaction for me but I have only had my first round.

I tried everything.  I was taking so much ibuprofen and tylenol it was not healthy.

But I am at that hot flash age too!  Who knows.

I wonder if that was the flu-like reaction from interferons?  Did you try ibuprofen or aspirin?
