Well so much for that but I struck out again...

Well I went to this new dr. with my hubby and he is very personable and has agreed to take on hubby as a new patient!

However, I struck out again and he was very honest with me about trying to change neuros and trying to find a gp that is educated in MS.

He did say that having the neuropsych. evaluation is a good idea because some of the best neuros work in the hospital where I am to have this done!  He went as far as to say that it's possible that my evaluation might come out saying that my disease is active and that I should not be denied the DMD's!

So I am going to see the lyingdoc tomorrow to ensure that she has booked this bloody appointment and I want a copy of the  referral letter or at least see it from my file!

I will let you know what happens at any rate!

After this afternoon's garbage that I went through with the MS Society nurse (look under my post of this afternoon regarding the MS Society) this was a ray of sunshine!  I don't get many ray's of sunshine in my life...

Lots of Hugs,

Rena

Hey girl...I will be keeping a very close eye on that lyin' doc today!  I sort of feel like all the wind is out of my sails knowing that at least for now I am stuck with her AGAIN!

The Dr. had never heard of such a thing and he didn't know any gp's that had been educated in it in the past...that is the way the story goes I guess...

Feeling a little down today but I should know better than to get my hopes up with anything to do the physicians shouldn't I?

I will let ya know what happens this afternoon with "HER" anyway...she had BETTER have a letter sent for neuropsych testing...she brought it up, I agreed to it so lets get on with it I figure eh?

Lots of Hugs,

Rena

p.s. What did the Dr say about getting a GP educated in MS?  Needle in a haystack or what?
