Hard-to-describe sensation

I have been having this hard-to-describe sesation in my legs and arms/hands (I'm guessing it's the muscles).  It feels like a pulsing/fluttering; like if I look down I should see a subtle movement or tremor.  Nothing shows but the feeling is almost constant now.  I do have weakness and infrequent tremors aside from this sensation, and I have periods of pure exhaustion.

Tonight my hand felt a little nerveless, not what I think of as numb, just weak or almost not there.  I was able to lift a fast food cup but THINK it was harder than it should have been to let go/put the cup on table.  I also had slight tremors during this timeframe.  The mustard and mayo packets of course mocked me soundly.

Has anyone else ever had this feeling and knows what it is?  Is it just muscle fatigue or possible nerve thingy?

Some of you know I've been considering an emg, but I have not scheduled one at this time.

If you feel it and can not see any movement, it is a paraesthesia.   If you can see the "bag of worms" motion, then it is a fasciculation.  Many fasiculations are due to benign causes.

Many times, the EMG is normal with both conditions, since there is no change in the sensory nerve action potentials (SNAP) or the compound motor action potentials (CMAP) in the peripheral nerves.  Fasicultions can occur withing a small group of muscle fibers and paraesthesias can literally be "all in your head."

Hi, I get the worm feeling all around, but it shows, I even get it on my stomach area and then it looks like I am pregnant, having a very activ baby!! At first time I got it, it was in my thigh (above knee) and it was like full of snakes. (Hope you understand my English). But I sometimes also get small tremors or something, that hardly shows.

My best,
Dagun

I get that all the time. I describe it (in the legs) like a feeling of worms crawling under my skin. I also get it in my arms. I have some loss of sensation on the tops of my arms, which comes in handy for IV's lol...I don't know exactly what it is, just know it is MS. My emg is normal. I also get buzzing feeling in my arms and legs, burning in my arms. I lay down in bed, and get the flutters in my back, too.
