I'm confused....hahahaha

I know the difference. I actually like both but am more partial to the Jamaican inspired Ska. Part of ranch life seems to be mud and poo. I'll take mud any day, hence my current preference to Ska over Scat. :-)
(It is kind of funny when words get reused and have such different meanings)
this is something I'd youtube for sure. :)
I used to make this loud TSK! sound every time I thought of something that bothered me. Which was a lot. It was really weird! Fortunately, one day it just went away. I didn't make a conscious effort not to do it - I just stopped.
I guess that would be Tourette's, right? I'm an alto too. (What do they call a soprano who can read music? An alto.)
Ha Ha Ha! Scat in the jazz world is vocal improvisation using various made-up syllables! I can imagine Tourettes might come in handy for this. I'm no bass, I'm an alto, but I have a good ear and a large-ish range. Music is meant to be shared - MS, Tourettes, or anything else notwithstanding!
Maybe a Ska band would be better. Living in Colorado, when you say "scat" I look on the ground for a pile of bear or coyote poop. Then again, if I was singing it would sound like scat (or another 4 letter word starting in S.)
