Lion or Lamb? Happenings this first week of March

March is here and spring may be just around the corner, but many of us are still experiencing tastes of winter.

What's going on this week, the first one of March?

This is the place we encourage everyone to let us know about appointments, events or anything else going on this week that we should be aware of happening.

So what's up?

be well,
Lulu

It sounds like quite the week for everyone.

Ren, I am so sorry there is such a sad event in your life- it never makes sense to me when young people die.

This is midterm break week and I am treating myself with taking a vacation day, after my doctor day tomorrow.

I see the PCP in the morning for my toe, which alternates numb & painful from  either my MS, the peripheral neuropathy, or bad fitting shoes.  I don't know which to hope for because good shoes are hard to find. I've ignored it long enough and don't want to wake up some day and discover that my great toe has to be amputated!

I am finally going to have lunch with Cosmobirdy - we live about 30 miles apart and have tried multiple times to set a date over the past 18 months or so.  Tomorrow is it, unless something happens.

I wrap up the day with my favorite therapist for a massage.  It doesn't get any better than that.

Friday I plan to start and finish our tax files for the accountant, including my MIL's stuff.  And then I get to relax over the weekend.

Now I just have to hope this comes together as planned.

as always,
Lulu

Today is tuesday.  We are meeting with the bank that ownes the house we are buying.  tomorow I go to the gyno to see why I am spotting a week before my cycle.  (we are trying to concieve).  Thursday morning, I take my youngest to get his hearing tested in the morning, and I go to the opthomologist in the afternoon.  Friday morning, we have the home-inspection on the house that we are buying.

Oh my,  all of that and every musdcle in my back and neck and right arm are screaming for me to go to bed.  That 33 lb son of mine does not understand when I say that I can't pick him up and cary him for 20 minutres.

LIFE IS GOOD!

Oh, gee, JJ.  I have been concerned about mixing up "there," "their," and "they're," or "two," "to," and "too" lately while typing.  I've decided to ignore typing "looking" as "lokking" and "stirrup" as "stiirup" or "stiruup," but this new practice of typing one word when I know another one is right has really begun to bug me, because I am always such a stickler when it comes to language, spelling, grammar, etc.   Math?  Scares me.  You sholuld see my checkbook already.

My little girl is 32, incidentally.  Adult brains do not necessarily equal wisdom; I hope that doesn't burst any bubbles for you!

Wednesday is may little girls birthday, cant believe she's 24, does that make her officially an adult with an adult brain? Not sure about that one but she is growing up.

Going away again on friday, its a long weekend again here, 3 days of water sports, bbq's and late nights talking and relaxing. Hope i make it.

Not a good week for me, fatigue now up to giving me 3 hour blocks of being awake, and i'm hardly doing anything when i am, no energy! Started having trouble walking again, knees started doing that bouncing thing again, so knees not locking, heavy feet, all i need is the clonus and i'll be a string puppet again lol

Too many things coming at me at once, still laughing, easier to do when half the things coming out of your mouth is loopy, last night dh was in stitches cause i'd said there are 5 segments he needs to do, 2 are math and i need your help taking over his math and the other 2 i'll be fine with. see why i need help with the math 2+2=5 lol

Cheers.....JJ

Thank you for remembering us in your thoughts. It was such a tragedy for such a promising , truly brilliant young lady! She was ALWAYS  a ray of sunshine whenever she walked into a room. Her main interest was medical research. She wanted to cure the world.

Ren, I'm sorry to read about that, too. It's hard when young people die. A student I taught when he was 13 just died two days ago...he was 28. So sad. You are in my thoughts.

Yes, two, Lu.  I posted on the other.

ren, so sad to hear of your daughter's friend passing.  I've done a LOT of funerals, but I've been blessed enough not to have to do any for someone so young.  We will pray for all she left behind.

Okay - THIS week I WILL make an appointment with the dentist for my cracked cap and the extruding molar!  I promise!  Cross my throat and hope to choke.

And THIS week I WILL make an appointment for the Uro-gynecologist for the increasingly severe bladder cramps and incontinence.  The time for the PT is OVER!  It helped for a long time, but I need somethingmore effective now.

I will schedule a renal ultrasound.

I am impressed at the lists of some of you guys!  Here's to having a real life!

Bio - for a first effort your schedule was dynamite!  Good Girl!

Thursday - Clinic appointment at NIB for cog testing and bloodwork.  May see the NP.  Same day MRI of brain, second one in a month.  Hmm.....

Waiting on patient coordinator on the date/time for a barium swallow test.  Hopefully not this week though.

Otherwise it is a quiet week with work and a day off on Friday.  That is "Julie Day!"

I have a busier than normal week and that without have anything for myself.

On Tues. I will be taking my friend up to the VA for an appointment, and then again on the 5th for another one. On the rest of the days I'll be going over to Dave's house to play with his dog Buddy and to make sure he is doing ok. I'll also probably be making a few trips to town for him also.

Dave is doing pretty good with his one hand, but the other one  is still very painful. Hopefully his hands will br better to the point he can take care of himself by next week. This afternoon he is going to try to take a shower for the first time since he hurt both hands. This should be something since he is not suppose to get them wet. Break out the baggies and tape time. :)

Where oh where to add my agenda?  I read your plan Alex.  Sounds busy.  Is your Reiki a class or treatment?  I tried both but got side tracked.  I'm assuming it helps you.

This afternoon I have a cardiology appointment.  I had a stress test last week that showed the electric company has put up a detour in my heart.  I'm hoping that can be sorted out quickly.

Tuesday and Wednesday are work days.  I can't plan anything else on those days.

Thursday the house will have an update of monitoring equipment from the gas company.  Otherwise I'm free to fatigue.

Friday is a return f/u with my PCP about the blood work, stress test, Oak Clinic report.

I need to try to get these things wrapped up so I am able to work some fun agility with my Bella on Sunday.  I can't keep up enough to compete but she loves the activity and being around other dogs.  It's fun for me too if I'm not too wiped out.  The place we go to is closing so this is the last session until I can find another place.  It would be very hard to ask hubby to be her handler this time.

Goal for following week:  phreedom phrom physicains
