MS Brain Lesions Yes or No?

I hacve been told by three different doctors that they believe I have MS.  The last doctor was a nerologist. He sent me to have an MRI done and it came back clear.  He said I had a clear MRI therefore you do not have MS.  He said if I still kept feeling bad to come back in.  Why??  Can you have all the symptoms of MS but not have it because you have no visible lesions on MRI?  Can injuries play a part in developing MS?
Thank You

Hi there, I'm just wondering did you ask for a copy of the CD from the MRI...as well as copies of the Radiologist report...you should do that if you haven't .. ask where you got it done for copies...OK...

and let us know what they say...I'm curious as to what the Radiologist said about your brain MRI.

keep track of all your symptoms and keep a timeline, incase you need to see the Neuro again, you can bring it with you..

call the Neuro if you have anything up .. OK..
take care

Did they do an MRI of the spinal cord too?  When I first had my symptoms they said my brain scan had insignificant white matter lesions in my brain but had nothing to do with MS. (WHAT???)  Then they did an MRI of the spine and there is where my lesions where hiding. My PCP, who had said all along it was MS, wanted to know how someone with my symptoms could have insignificant white matter lesions in the brain?  He then said that I probably needed another Neurologist.  He was right the next guy said everything but insignificant.

I'll be praying,
Carol
